The name Logo-Motives has served many purposes for me since its conception.
When I started as a freelance graphic designer The term logo, meaning a graphic representation and motives,
meaning goal or purpose, reminded me of the importance of a logo as
a graphic representation of the purpose of the business.
I started working in home restoration and kept the same name because, it was catchy and
it reminded me of a locomotive which may transport many different things but they are
all on one track. While multitasking and working with different business owners and contract employees,
staying on track was sometimes challenging but the concept of keeping the locomotive moving full steam ahead searved as a source
of inspiration for me.
Currently as a student at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, I understand that
in business or on an individual level, we are all motivated
creatures. Our motives or goals are the fuel that keep us moving in one direction or another. Every person has them.
People who are living rich lives have learned to specialize and own what is unique to them. Every business and every
individual is unique. Knowing what makes you unique is what makes you stand out from the rest. In my portfolio you will
find a demonstration of a variety of work I have done. There is a combination of Art, Psychology, and Communication, all put
together utilizing technical skills in HTML, CSS, Flash, ActionScript, JavaScript and PHP. An interest in both technical
and creative areas is one of the things that make me unique.
